Payment and Refund Policy

1. Scope. This policy governs all fees payable for admission to and enrolment in any program of "Marinex" IMU, CET Coaching Academy. ("the Academy"). It forms part of, and must be read with, the Admission Form and the Terms & Conditions of Admission.

2. Fee components. The amounts payable consist of (a) a one-time Application / Admission Fee, charged at the time of submitting the Admission Form, and (b) the Program Fee for the course/batch applied for, as set out in the Academy's official fee schedule. Applicable taxes, if any, are payable in addition.

3. Application / Admission Fee (charged extra). The Application / Admission Fee is over and above the Program Fee and is payable at the time the Admission Form is filled. It covers processing of the application and is non-refundable and non-adjustable under all circumstances, including where admission is not taken up, declined, or cancelled.

4. Payment options. The Program Fee may be paid in either of two ways: (a) Full Payment — the entire Program Fee paid in a single instalment at the time of enrolment; or (b) EMI / Instalments — payment in instalments as per the EMI schedule and due dates communicated by the Academy at the time of enrolment.

5. Discounts (Full Payment only). Students opting for Full Payment may, at the sole discretion of the management, be granted a discount. Any such discount is decided by the management on a case-by-case basis and will be communicated to the student in writing. Discounts are not an entitlement and may be revised or withdrawn for future intakes.

6. No discount on EMI. The EMI / instalment option is not eligible for any discount, concession, scholarship or promotional offer. The full scheduled Program Fee is payable when the instalment route is chosen.

7. Payment methods & confirmation. Fees may be paid by Direct Deposit, UPI, NEFT/RTGS, Cheque, or Demand Draft to the Academy's designated account (per the details on the Admission Form). The seat is confirmed only upon actual receipt and clearance of payment. Payments made by cheque/DD are subject to realisation; any dishonour may attract applicable bank charges and may be treated as non-payment.

8. EMI due dates & default. Each instalment must be paid on or before its due date as per the agreed schedule. Delay or default in any instalment may result in suspension of classes, study material, test access and other services until the dues are cleared, and continued default may lead to cancellation of admission, in each case without any refund of amounts already paid.

9. Refund policy. Fees once paid are non-refundable and non-transferable (to another person, batch, program or academic year). Voluntary withdrawal, discontinuation, absence, or removal on disciplinary grounds does not entitle the student to any refund, adjustment or compensation.

10. Refund by management approval (exception). Notwithstanding Clause 9, the management may, in its sole discretion and only in certain genuine circumstances, approve a refund in full or in part. Any such refund: (a) must be applied for in writing to the Academy office, stating reasons and with supporting documents; (b) is granted only on the management's written approval; (c) may be subject to deductions (such as the Application/Admission Fee, administrative charges, and the value of any material/services already provided); and (d) once approved, will be processed to the original payer within a reasonable period.

11. Never refundable. Regardless of the above, the Application/Admission Fee, taxes already remitted, and the cost of any study material or services already issued or availed are non-refundable in all cases.

12. Amendment. The Academy reserves the right to revise this policy and the fee schedule for future intakes. Changes notified through the Academy's official channels shall be binding.
